Dom was on his third Twix that day, and alternated between them and cigarettes. Seth kind of liked the combination of tobacco smoke and chocolate. All he needed with it was a coffee. They left the motel early in the morning, yet on completely different terms. There was so much of Domenico Acerbi in the way he fucked that Seth felt as if the amnesia had never swallowed Dom’s brain.
Waking up from that dream was so drastic that Seth needed cigarettes himself to get through the morning. He would have downed a tequila if he weren’t driving. After the routine of a morning prayer for Dom’s health, they left Pennsylvania and Seth had more time to think than he would have liked. After almost a month that passed since the accident, he was slowly coming to realize that Dom might never get his memory back. That he’d never remember how they got together or what he truly felt for Seth.
