Bringing Jacob home from school should have felt weird. It was like meeting Calli had given me a whole new element of a family I’d never experienced before. It didn’t though. If anything, it felt completely natural. My wolf was adamant that Jacob was ours. In fact, he felt uneasy when he was out of our sight. School today had been difficult. Not only was I stuck trying to catch up with the work I had missed, but my wolf was riding me every second to go and check on Jacob. He needed to know that his pup was safe.
