We had been standing outside Calli’s house for about half an hour in the cold guarding the altar while Calli walked the perimeter of where she wanted the warding to be set up. Jacob had gotten bored after about five minutes and gone inside to play with his lego. I couldn’t blame him, and as he wandered back into the house, I could see the look of longing on Tanner’s face. The depth of his newfound love of lego was pretty funny. Nash and Aidan had gone to the garage because we had a delivery of parts due that needed to be signed for and Nash needed some more paperwork for the books they had been trying to do earlier.
